The publisher of Super Lawyers uses a selection process that combines peer nominations and evaluations of highly regarded practitioners with independent research. Lawyers who are 40 years of age and under, or have been in practice for less than 10 years, are included in a separate category as “Rising Stars.” In each state, the Super Lawyers list recognizes no more than five percent of attorneys and the Rising Stars list recognizes no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys.
